ManyMentors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2011 to inspire, encourage, and support underrepresented* students’ interest in pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, and eventual entrance into the STEM workforce. From middle schoolers to young working professionals, we connect individuals to near-age mentors who can make opportunities in STEM become more visible, valuable & viable.
We are focus on the use of onsite, online & mobile methods to multiply mentoring options and move mentoring into the modern age. We currently implement onsite mentoring opportunities with our local community partners, are offer online mentoring to a select number of mentor/mentee pairs. Using the combination of onsite and online mentoring, we coordinate STEM volunteer outreach and facilitate one-on-one mentor/mentee matching & communication so students can gain access to resources, discover local opportunities, & develop professional skills in the STEM fields.
Our program currently primarily serves middle and high school students located in the state of Connecticut. Check out our social media pages for updates on our activity!
